Trichology focuses on the scientific study of hair and scalp health

Trichologist has in-depth knowledge of hair and scalp anatomy, physiology, and pathology, including understanding hair growth cycles and the holistic operation of hair health. Trichologists focus on identifying, treating, and managing a wide range of hair and scalp disease and disorders, particularly hair loss. They use tools like trichoscopes to examine the scalp and hair follicles microscopically, identify underlying problems through hair health assessments which includes a complete health history.

Trichologist will develop personalized plans for both at home use and in clinic, that may include topical treatments, dietary recommendations/supplements, lifestyle adjustments, and/or referrals to other specialists (dermatology/PCP) if needed. Trichologists also educate clients on proper hair and scalp care, product selection, and ways to maintain healthy hair recommending treatments to alleviate symptoms and promote scalp health.

Consultations-$200 60-minute appointment which will address hair and scalp conditions. The consultation begins with a discussion of your detailed medical history including labs and medications, hair care habits, diet and lifestyle. A specialized tool called a trichoscope will assist with examining the hair and scalp at 50x and 200x under both white and blue light, as well as, oil and hydration levels. This helps to determine/identify the cause of hair fall, hair breakage, thinning, and/or disorders of the scalp at which point a personalized treatment plan will be recommended.

Scalp Spa-$125 60-minute appointment is a unique scalp detox which is designed to transform your scalps environment to support hair growth. The essential oils of juniper, mint, and sweet orange, along with salicylic acid, enhance scalp hydration and have strong soothing and anti-inflammatory properties. Alpha hydroxy acids to promote deep scalp regeneration. Pharmaceutical-grade active ingredients inhibit the growth of Malassezia Furfur (itchy scalp). Rhododendron stem cells are known for their strong regenerative capacity and inhibition of skin proteins damage from oxidative stress. Diamond powder gently exfoliates the scalp, reducing flaking.

Laser treatments-$50 20-minute appointment The Trichoglam is the hair loss laser therapy we use here which combines LED, LLLT, with anti-bacterial blue light therapy, to treat genetic and reactional hair loss, increasing blood flow and microcirculation to restore the healthy functioning of your scalp and hair bulb. As a result of hair loss laser therapy at our clinic, your hair stem becomes thicker the hair diameter gets bigger, your hair becomes denser.

Blue light penetrates beating and destroying bacterial DNA barriers. It also has purifying effects on the scalp. Red Lights stimulate the surface of the scalp and in this way stimulate the growth of hair. LED infrared stimulates the metabolism of the hair bulb and the microcirculation of the scalp, activates blood flow and nourishment, which is essential for hair growth.
